Then, considering the remaining healthy parts of the tooth, it repairs the lost tooth tissue as much as possible.
Restorative dental treatment, on the other hand, is performed by the dentist after cleaning the decayed tooth and hard tissue, and repairing the lost tooth tissue with a filling material instead. This method is done both to make the appearance aesthetic and to protect the function of the tooth. In order to apply conservative and restorative dental treatment to the patient, it is essential that the tooth in question is in salvageable condition.
As the name suggests, the dentist will prefer to save the tooth instead of escaping if there is a possibility that the tooth can be saved.
